Help support local families by caring for infants and toddlers while their parents participate in a nearby parenting education class. Volunteers will spend time holding babies, playing with toddlers, reading books, engaging in age-appropriate activities, and helping create a safe, welcoming environment for children.
This opportunity is perfect for individuals who enjoy working with young children and want to make a meaningful impact on families in our community. Staff will be present and available to provide guidance and support throughout the volunteer experience.
Volunteer Responsibilities:
- Hold and comfort infants
- Play with toddlers and young children
- Read books, color, and participate in simple activities
- Help maintain a safe and positive environment
- Communicate any needs or concerns to staff
Additional Information: Lunch will be provided.
