Join us for one of the biggest behind-the-scenes volunteer opportunities of the year as we prepare 4,000 race bags for the HumanKind Lynchburg Turkey Trot! This opportunity is perfect for individuals, families, groups, and anyone who enjoys organized, assembly-style projects.
Tuesday: General bag stuffing and preparation for customization
Wednesday: Customization, organization, and finalization of all 4,000 race bags
Organizers are especially needed for Wednesday shifts!
Volunteers may assist with:
- Sorting merchandise based on participant orders
- Organizing bags numerically and alphabetically
- Matching and placing paperwork in corresponding race bags
- Preparing race bibs and race materials
- Final quality checks before Packet Pick Up
