Help us get ready for one of Lynchburg's favorite Thanksgiving traditions! Volunteers will assist with unloading and organizing Turkey Trot materials from vehicles into our packet pick-up space on HumanKind's main campus.
This important behind-the-scenes opportunity includes unloading boxes containing race bags, medals, event materials, and other race-day supplies. Once materials are unloaded, volunteers will help organize and stage boxes that hold approximately 4,000 race bags to prepare for Packet Pick-Up.
Volunteer tasks may include:
- Unloading boxes and race materials from vehicles
- Moving supplies into the designated packet pick-up area
- Organizing race bags, medals, and event materials
- Assisting with setup and preparation for Packet Pick-Up
Please come prepared to lift up to 30 pounds and be comfortable with standing, walking, and moving materials throughout the shift.
